As Mothers Day Approaches We Would Love To Share Some Of Our Favorite Sessions
4TH GENERATION PHOTOSHOOT
When Kolbi contacted us she let us know that she wanted to an outdoor generational photoshoot and would for us to have creative control! So of course we started texting and bouncing ideas off each other and decided to go with a linen look!
The session felt fast and fun! We were fighting against the wind the entire time which actually helped create some texture in the background. Kori (baby girl) ran the show okay lol!! Whatever she wanted is what we did because we needed her corporation to get ONE good shot, thankfully we got a few!
We absolutely love this setup and the way that the images came out even though the weather had about 3 different moods in a 30 minute session lol! It was sunny, partly cloudy, and overcast so the images all had a different lighting. Check out these photos and see if you can peep the difference lol!
For a while we had been looking for this large canvas background that we saw so many people using but we are the type to find it ourselves vs asking lol! So after scrolling on @amazon and @google we finally realized that it was a painters canvas lol!! I had been looking for a linen thick background and the whole time you could just order this online or pick it up at your local hardware store!

We have been working with these two since 2019 and every session has been uniquely beautiful! 🥰
For Zoi’s 8th birthday she decided that she wanted to do a mommy and me sessions instead of her usual solo portrait birthday session. Of course we were down and decided to do something we haven’t already done! We went with “The Gallery on Magazine” which is an indoor/outdoor venue that makes a great backdrop for your photos. I love the modern take on the vintage aesthetic! This venue has a $100 per 30 minute fee! ✨
This year Zoi was so excited for her photos and really brought the energy! I absolutely love seeing her growth infront of the camera, my little unpaid model lol!! 😆
Their matching mommy & me dresses were soooo gorgeous, even more gorgeous in person! Shoutout to @fabulosa_asi for making these gorgeous gowns!! I love their updo hairstyles and the makeup by @foreverac_mua as well, they are so gorgeous! 🥰

Fall Maternity Photo Shoot | Mandeville Photographer
Raquel & Janard Maternity Photo Shoot🖤🌹
When Raquel contacted us she let us know that her maternity shoot would be right after her baby shower! We thought this was a great idea on the clients part especially if you’re someone who doesn’t need pregnancy photos at the baby shower OR if you’ve already taken some and wanted to take some more. This route allows the client to save money on hair and makeup! ✨
The maternity shoot was shot on the north shore at a gorgeous mansion in Mandeville, Louisiana and the photos clearly came out amazing! We absolutely loved the fall woodland scenery, bridge, pond, pool, and fountain! The interior was also gorgeous with an amazing piano to use as a prop for the session and a flawless spiral staircase. If you’re interested in this location just let us know and we can contact the owner as he doesn’t have social media. ✨
These two had amazing chemistry and the photos reflect that! We absolutely love the clean all black formal maternity attire with the pop of a red lip, it’s giving luxury outdoor maternity photos!

New Orleans Race and Religious Maternity Photo Shoot
Audri Maternity Photos 🤎✨
When Audri contacted us she let us know that she was open to booking whatever location that would best compliment her GORGEOUS dress! Initially we were planning to use “The Seraphim House” which is a gorgeous venue that no longer allows photo shoots. We then decided to book with the most similar venue @raceandreligious which is super versatile and absolutely gorgeous ! 🥰😍
I was sooo excited when I seen Audri’s dress and knew we were gonna kill this session! We started with using the indoor portion of the property then proceed to take photos outside! Inside is so nice because you can use all three floors for amazing scenery and they all look uniquely different while still complimentary of each other! My favorite floors are 2-3 especially floor #2 with the large mirror. Outside there’s a pool, amazing arches, flowers, and more to help create an amazing photoshoot! As we moved around we played music, adjusted her hair, and showed her the best poses based on her body type and attire. Despite Audri insisting that she wasn’t good in front of the camera she really was a natural and killed it! ✨

Luxury Golden Birthday Photo Shoot
Mylynn’s 22 Golden Birthday Photoshoot 🤎🥂
We absolutely love the way these luxurious birthday photos came out! They are so feminine, upscale, and beautiful! ☺️
Mylynn sent a bunch of drapery background photo shoots for her inspo so we decided to do this set based on that. We used four polyester curtain panels that we got from @amazon and one satin fabric to go across the curtains! A black round stool was used for her to sit on, we covered it with the same draped fabric in the background to make the set look consistent. ✨
We do provide the wine glass for the photo shoots as well, the client just has to provide the wine! I love it when the wine color matches or compliments the set! 😉

MOMMY AND ME GRINCH THEMED PHOTO SHOOT
❤️Grinch Themed Mommy & Me Session 💚
We absolutely love the turnout of this holiday mommy and me session, this was such a fun set to create! 🥰
We made a grinch floor using 10x60 inch faux fur from Amazon which we thought was super fun and creative. It took about (10) pieces of fabric to make the floor. The tree props plus the grinch came from the @athomestores and the garland came from @amazon Together everything just looks so fun and playful which was the overall plan since they were wearing Pj’s! I wanted the texture of the pajamas to be complimented by the textures of the props used in the photos and it turned out perfect! 🥰✨
This was actually our first time doing a mommy and me session since we’ve been working together and that’s since 2019! The kids(Rylie, Autumn, and Parker) are so funny and full of personality!! Jaz is always so easy to work with, always giving us full creative control down to her hair, nails, attire, and scenery. We decided to use this set up for our Valentines Day mini setup and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to share it as February is a super busy month for us! Now that things have slowed down a little bit I’ve created this reel to share with you guys! 🥰
This shoot was so fun and creative!
We used 10ft x 10ft wrinkle free ivory curtain panels from Amazon and thrifted our vases for around $2 a piece! We placed wooden crates under the panels for the vases to sit on and the flowers came from Rouses.✨
Shoutout to Tanky for being such a pleasure to work with! We discussed attire, hair, and accessories that would make the shoot turn out amazing and literally whatever I wanted to do she was down! Thank you boo 🫶🏽

We have officially opened our studio up for studio portraits and we are loving the way our minimalist style has been translating! For these photos we really didn’t want a holiday backdrop filled with a bunch of props but instead we just wanted a clean scenery where the client stands out! 🥰
We got the velvet black trees and the farm house prop from @hobbylobby and used ornaments that we got from the @athomestore on an all white sheet backdrop. ✨

Every year they coordinate well and aim to give us a great client experience! DaJhae always works with me to coordinate attire with their location and she’s always open to do whatever I think is best so their photos are always beautiful! ✨
Their fall portraits this year are definitely my favorites of them! Miguel & DaJhae are just too cute together and are super easy to photograph! Miguel Jr. is becoming more cooperative because he really doesn’t like taking photos but I love that he gives us a little something to work with lol! Diór is gorgeous and she knows it, she didn’t come to play this year, she was posing like she was auditioning for A.N.T.M. lol!! 😍
We love the solid attire on the parents which compliment instead of clashing with the patterned outfits the kids are wearing! Sometimes too much pattern can make an image become distracting. The Cleveland’s decided to have their photos taken right before they tied the knot at the Gretna courthouse! I love when couples choose the intimate route for getting married and book high quality images to capture the moment! As we always say, your photos are one of the only things you get to keep after your wedding so you should definitely prioritize them over many other things, or at least book it first lol! These two were a pleasure to photograph even in the cold, they made my husband and i’s job EASY! We showed them the poses, made sure hair was proper, fixed her dress, and faught against the wind to keep her veil showing properly! Audri & Brandon’s Maternity Shoot 🤍😍
We absolutely loved working with Audri to bring their maternity shoot to life! This maternity shoot was a full NBP experience, of course they gave us full creative control of attire, poses, and location to ensure they got exactly what they paid for plus more! 🥰
When Audri inquired she let us know that she already had her eyes on a dress and just wanted us to pick the best location for it. Audri was very specific about wanting solo, couple, and family shots so we knew what to expect. Since she had been following us for a long time already she knew our preferred way of doing things and we loved that! 😍
This was her very first maternity shoot since she didn’t take one for her first pregnancy so it was important for us to really make these images amazing! Thanks again for allowing us to document your first maternity session! 🥰

D.I.Y DENIM BACKGROUND PHOTOSHOOT | CREATIVE PHOTOSHOOT IDEAS
D.I.Y. Photoshoot Idea
We had so much fun creating this denim backdrop photoshoot for our clients! Jaz set it off being the first client to do this session, she’s so gorgeous and so fun to work with! I absolutely love the way her red hair popped against the backdrop! We went with zebra and black stiletto nails to compliment the black buckle on her outfit and her thigh high leather boots! The black hoop earrings are a staple and her tattoos added to the IT girl effect!
To pull this off we used (2) plaster boards from Home Depot, (2) Gorilla Glue, and cut up denim pants that we purchased for $1 at the thrift store. This took about 4 hours total to cut up all the denim and place it on the board! We used about 30 pair of pants to cover the full board and floor!
We typically go for a very uniform look when being creative but we wanted to switch it up this time and just place the denim pieces in no particular pattern. We love the turnout of these, let us know what you think!

Hotel Provincial Family Portrait Session | New Orleans French Quarter
📸 Keisha chose NBP for her daughter’s sweet 16 surprise photoshoot in New Orleans with their close-knit family. This was their very first all girls trip so it was very exciting for them and fun for us to document! 🥰 They are such a gorgeous family and they took instructions very well! We met them at Hotel Provincial which has an amazing courtyard with a beautiful surrounding scenery in the FQ. ⚜️
Since they were coming in from Texas they had concerns about booking a photoshoot, fearing a no-show photographer. We assured them that we’re a reliable choice and that got me thinking - let’s talk about a key point:

I absolutely LOVE the way my sisters foil photoshoot came out! I’m so proud of her growth in front of the camera and confidence over all! 🥰
We decided to do a blue and metallic color pallet for these, which compliments her brand colors! I styled her in a @prettylittlething two piece blue metallic set with clear raindrop embellishments! Of course to match I paired it with a metallic IT GIRL purse from @revolve and gorgeous metallic pumps from @jessicasimpsonstyle ! The jewelry was also in the shape of a pear to match the embellishments! 💎
Deciding on hair was the hardest part because there are soooo many styles that can compliment this look! 😭 We decided to go with past the knee length box braids which were beautifully done by @dc.stylez ! Of course we went with @lucky4him for makeup because she don’t ever miss for a celebrity glam!!💙
My favorite thing about this shoot is the versatility in her poses! I really enjoy challenging myself and clients to create an album full of variety! You can stand, sit, squat, hold props, and switch up hair and attire to give your photos versatility and this album proves it!

I thought the perfect hairstyle to do on her would be two space buns but with spikes in some photos. I LOVE how her hair came out and truly happy to showcase all of my talents through this session. 🫶🏽
