This year her mom wanted to do a cloud 9 theme which of course made me super excited as I love to do a new theme! I been seeing this shoot on Pinterest but since I wasn’t working in studio yet I never had the chance to do it! Thankfully we were able to pull it off now! 🥰
This was such a fun and creative set and Zoe did such a great job! She has always been so gorgeous! She starts off shy in the beginning and then kills it once she warms up! I love her goofy personality, it makes getting photos so easy! Her outfit is just so cute and kid friendly! We decided on the white jumper to compliment the clouds with a blue bandeau! The jacket was so fun to have on in some photos to give them that “it’s my birthday” pop! 🎉

Jaryn and I (mostly Jaryn) built this set using (3) white trifold boards from Walmart! He glued the boards together with tape to make a standing background! The background was clamped to the backdrop stand! We did the exact same process for the floor using (2) trifold boards. We sprayed the trifold boards with gorilla glue and used pulled apart clouds we got from Amazon. The hanging clouds were purchased on Amazon and it came with the hook and string which was super clutch! You’ll need more than one bageiund stand or a ceiling you can hang clouds from to pull off this set! ✨🥰

Pizza Birthday Photo Shoot
Korei’s ChefBoyarTHREE Pizza Parlor Themed Phoot Shoot! 🥰🍕❤️
This photoshoot was so fun and cute!! I’ve seen this theme so many times but never had the opportunity to do one! I’m thrilled to have done these, they came out so nice! It’s easier to capture kids if you give them prompts to do things instead of keeping them in placing begging them to smile lol! So I had more of a mixed poses and candid approach to this session with hopes of nailing the shots. ✨
The aesthetic, Korei’s Gingham outfit with the chef hat and number three was so complimentary of each other! I loved her outfit, her entire look shows how less can be more! I love her natural hair and twist, it’s just an overall super cute look for a kid!
Initially we had the option of doing a pizza parlor, minimalist pizza photoshoot, or a regular minimalist photoshoot with no props. After looking at the pizza parlor options in New Orleans we decided that none of them matched the aesthetic we were looking for! So we were back to the drawing board! Kolbi(Korei’s mom) found a pizza spot in Baton Rouge that worked perfectly for the vision! I’m sooooo happy she saw this spot because these are just tooooo good!! Jabby’s pizza has a nice modern aesthetic and they were very nice to us! They really tried to help in whatever way they could to help us get great shots! I would only recommend doing a pizza parlor photoshoot in the morning soon as the spot opens so that it can be empty! The less people the better lol, the photos will be C L E A N!👌🏽

Butterfly Themed First Birthday Photoshoot 🦋
I absolutely love the way this butterfly themed milestone photoshoot came out. Our client sent us her babies outfit and we decided to go with butterflies and a simple background for the scenery. We got the coordinated butterflies from Hobby Lobby and used t-pins to put them in the white sheet background. The remaining butterflies were placed on the babies tulle dress and around her. ✨
Lauryn did so good for her photoshoot, she is literally too cute! We love the shots of her looking at her black and white photo collage made by her mom, Dyion. Everything came out so nice in just a short 45 minute mini session. 🥰

Javonni’s First Birthday Photos 🤍🖤
This was a last minute birthday photoshoot booked by Jovonni’s God mother as a gift to her mom! 🥹 I love, love, love when people book photography sessions as a gift because it’s such a timeless gift, you’ll receive an unforgettable photo session and timeless images! 🥰
Since we didn’t have time to order props we asked the client to send both of the babies outfits and we would come up with a nice coordinated set. Once I seen the white dress I went to @hobbylobbythe same day as the session to get a grey satin fabric and clear diamonds. We also brought the column prop for photos with her sister so that she would have something to sit on that complimented the set. ✨
Javonni did great for her very first photoshoot! The diamonds were distracting enough for her to get some nice candid shots. We love it when the babies can’t walk just yet because it’s actually easier to get stable shots lol!
We love the way that these images came out, they’re so gorgeous! This session was done in one hour! We did the starter mini session at $275 and added on time($50 for 30 minutes) to document both outfits. We do need time to take down the set and put up another one which could take 10-15 minutes so extra time will be needed when doing a custom session. ✨

We love the way RaShawn‘s maternity pictures came out, the minimalist style is super cute! We only used pampas grass, a vase, a linen boho chair, and a canvas paint backdrop.The canvas backdrop adds texture to the images and the size of it is perfect! ✨

Inspirational New Orleans Engagement Photo Shoot
Taylor & Renaldo’s Engagement Photo Shoot 💍
When Taylor and Renaldo contacted us for their engagement shoot, we were happy to help them capture their love story in the most beautiful locations New Orleans has to offer. We started at City Park to complement their Princess and the Frog theme, and the enchanting scenery provided the perfect backdrop. 🌳
Next, we headed to A.L. Davis Park to capture some photos among the trees and in front of the surrounding graffiti. Their outfits blended seamlessly with the vibrant surroundings, and the attention to detail in their coordination was absolutely stunning! ✨
To add a personal touch, we concluded the shoot at First African Baptist Church, right next to where Renaldo grew up. This special location added depth and meaning to their photos, highlighting their journey together. The First African Baptist Church is not only the first but oldest black church in Louisiana. It was the housing for NOLA Baptist Theological Seminary, which is the only place where black students could learn theology and basic literacy skills. ❤️
Taylor and Renaldo were an absolute pleasure to work with. Their chemistry shined through every shot, making our job so enjoyable.

Mothers Day Mommy And Me Photo Shoot
Logan & Laken Mother’s Day Mommy And Me 🌸
When Logan first contacted us she let us know that she wanted to do an in studio mommy and me session with her baby. This is her very first Mother’s Day photoshoot. Logan let us know that she wanted to have a nice set up that would complement the already selected outfits, they were coordinated so well and it was just so cute. I absolutely loved their look because the pink is just giving “girl mom” as Logan said lol
Originally for this set up we had purchased some new pink backdrops and wanted to have it be a nice all pink session! The all pink just wasn’t the best option so we decided to go with our white curtain backdrop, and use some flowers that Logan purchased. The turnout was amazing!! As Mothers Day Approaches We Would Love To Share Some Of Our Favorite Sessions
4TH GENERATION PHOTOSHOOT
When Kolbi contacted us she let us know that she wanted to an outdoor generational photoshoot and would for us to have creative control! So of course we started texting and bouncing ideas off each other and decided to go with a linen look!
The session felt fast and fun! We were fighting against the wind the entire time which actually helped create some texture in the background. Kori (baby girl) ran the show okay lol!! Whatever she wanted is what we did because we needed her corporation to get ONE good shot, thankfully we got a few!
We absolutely love this setup and the way that the images came out even though the weather had about 3 different moods in a 30 minute session lol! It was sunny, partly cloudy, and overcast so the images all had a different lighting. Check out these photos and see if you can peep the difference lol!
For a while we had been looking for this large canvas background that we saw so many people using but we are the type to find it ourselves vs asking lol! So after scrolling on @amazon and @google we finally realized that it was a painters canvas lol!! I had been looking for a linen thick background and the whole time you could just order this online or pick it up at your local hardware store!

For Zoi’s 8th birthday she decided that she wanted to do a mommy and me sessions instead of her usual solo portrait birthday session. Of course we were down and decided to do something we haven’t already done! We went with “The Gallery on Magazine” which is an indoor/outdoor venue that makes a great backdrop for your photos. I love the modern take on the vintage aesthetic! This venue has a $100 per 30 minute fee! ✨
This year Zoi was so excited for her photos and really brought the energy! I absolutely love seeing her growth infront of the camera, my little unpaid model lol!! 😆

Raquel & Janard Maternity Photo Shoot🖤🌹
When Raquel contacted us she let us know that her maternity shoot would be right after her baby shower! We thought this was a great idea on the clients part especially if you’re someone who doesn’t need pregnancy photos at the baby shower OR if you’ve already taken some and wanted to take some more. This route allows the client to save money on hair and makeup! ✨
The maternity shoot was shot on the north shore at a gorgeous mansion in Mandeville, Louisiana and the photos clearly came out amazing! We absolutely loved the fall woodland scenery, bridge, pond, pool, and fountain! The interior was also gorgeous with an amazing piano to use as a prop for the session and a flawless spiral staircase. If you’re interested in this location just let us know and we can contact the owner as he doesn’t have social media. ✨
These two had amazing chemistry and the photos reflect that! We absolutely love the clean all black formal maternity attire with the pop of a red lip, it’s giving luxury outdoor maternity photos!

New Orleans Race and Religious Maternity Photo Shoot

When Audri contacted us she let us know that she was open to booking whatever location that would best compliment her GORGEOUS dress! Initially we were planning to use “The Seraphim House” which is a gorgeous venue that no longer allows photo shoots. We then decided to book with the most similar venue @raceandreligious which is super versatile and absolutely gorgeous ! 🥰😍
I was sooo excited when I seen Audri’s dress and knew we were gonna kill this session! We started with using the indoor portion of the property then proceed to take photos outside! Inside is so nice because you can use all three floors for amazing scenery and they all look uniquely different while still complimentary of each other! My favorite floors are 2-3 especially floor #2 with the large mirror. Outside there’s a pool, amazing arches, flowers, and more to help create an amazing photoshoot! As we moved around we played music, adjusted her hair, and showed her the best poses based on her body type and attire. Despite Audri insisting that she wasn’t good in front of the camera she really was a natural and killed it! ✨

We absolutely love the way these luxurious birthday photos came out! They are so feminine, upscale, and beautiful! ☺️
Mylynn sent a bunch of drapery background photo shoots for her inspo so we decided to do this set based on that. We used four polyester curtain panels that we got from @amazon and one satin fabric to go across the curtains! A black round stool was used for her to sit on, we covered it with the same draped fabric in the background to make the set look consistent. ✨
We do provide the wine glass for the photo shoots as well, the client just has to provide the wine! I love it when the wine color matches or compliments the set! 😉

We absolutely love the turnout of this holiday mommy and me session, this was such a fun set to create! 🥰
We made a grinch floor using 10x60 inch faux fur from Amazon which we thought was super fun and creative. It took about (10) pieces of fabric to make the floor. The tree props plus the grinch came from the @athomestores and the garland came from @amazon Together everything just looks so fun and playful which was the overall plan since they were wearing Pj’s! I wanted the texture of the pajamas to be complimented by the textures of the props used in the photos and it turned out perfect! 🥰✨
This was actually our first time doing a mommy and me session since we’ve been working together and that’s since 2019! The kids(Rylie, Autumn, and Parker) are so funny and full of personality!! Jaz is always so easy to work with, always giving us full creative control down to her hair, nails, attire, and scenery. We decided to use this set up for our Valentines Day mini setup and unfortunately didn’t get a chance to share it as February is a super busy month for us! Now that things have slowed down a little bit I’ve created this reel to share with you guys! 🥰
This shoot was so fun and creative!
We used 10ft x 10ft wrinkle free ivory curtain panels from Amazon and thrifted our vases for around $2 a piece! We placed wooden crates under the panels for the vases to sit on and the flowers came from Rouses.✨
Shoutout to Tanky for being such a pleasure to work with! We discussed attire, hair, and accessories that would make the shoot turn out amazing and literally whatever I wanted to do she was down! Thank you boo 🫶🏽
